The typeface “Tara” is an experimental Arabic font design inspired by the geometric precision of the Kufi script, reimagined with a modern edge. This unique typeface, notable for its bold shapes and clean lines, was brought to life in a series of handprinted silkscreen postcards.

Each postcard showcases the phrase “Kol taqkhira fiha khira” (translating to “In every delay, lies something good”), an Arabic saying that conveys the wisdom of patience and trusting in the timing of events beyond one’s control. The message, paired with Tara’s striking geometric forms, creates a visually resonant piece of art that emphasizes both cultural heritage and contemporary design.
