Nature in the city

This project aims to tackle the lack of knowledge in Cairo about plants and trees in public spaces and gardens. Creating awareness of the importance of trees is the aim. Walking in the street everyday one is blinded by Cairo traffic, and appreciation towards nature is minimal. A booklet, a folded brochure and cards that present leaf types of various trees. The illustrations of the leafs are lino-cut and a Latin font was designed specifically for this project (Natura).
